This is the last one Gary made like this. He used to save leftover pieces from other boards, glue them together, and turn them into something new. It’s not hollow, so it has a bit more weight to it. He made two boards in this style, and this one was the last—built for himself.
Gary rode a board like this at Nelscott. It’s a great-looking board and a good example of how board design has evolved over time, becoming a little shorter, a little wider, and more refined.
