This is a single-fin from the Gerry Lopez Pipeline era, shaped by Mike Croteaux. I wanted to collect boards from the shapers who had influenced my surfing and shaping career or had shaped boards for me over the years. At one point, I had boards from just about all of them.
Mike Croteaux was a very creative shaper and ahead of his time, and this board is a great example of his work. For me, it is both a collectible and an important part of that history.
