Cut-Down Hynson Red Fin - 6' Polyurethane - Single Fin

Started life as a Hynson model with the offset Hynson stringers and the original Red Fin, then got cut down in the late 1960s when everyone wanted a shortboard and almost nobody was building them yet.

That is what people did: strip the glass off a longboard, reshape it, make your own. This one even has a reshaped fin, which makes it more of what it is, not less. Wing tail, and the rocker actually came out right.

Watertight. About six foot of San Diego surf history.
