1950 Willys Model Jeepster Convertible
1950 Willys Jeepster Convertible
This rare 1950 Willys Jeepster Convertible has been in our family since the 1950s and was my father’s car. Willys-Overland, the company that built the legendary Jeeps used during World War II, produced the Jeepster from 1948–1951 as one of its first civilian vehicles after the war.
The engine has been completely rebuilt and has approximately 50 miles on it since the rebuild. It also has new brakes, a new water pump, a new carburetor, and many other mechanical components have been replaced or restored. The Jeep starts, runs, and drives well.
The interior is in nice condition. The exterior is solid but could use a fresh paint job to bring it to the next level. The odometer is not working, so the actual mileage is unknown.
This is a wonderful classic that’s ready to be enjoyed as-is or taken to the next stage of restoration. It’s a unique piece of American automotive history and always gets attention wherever it goes.
